JACQUELINE'S ART.

Jacqueline Phillips grew up on Block Island, and now resides in Southeastern Connecticut.  She has shown her work and exhibited at numerous art shows and galleries including at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum of New London, Norwich Arts Counsel Gallery, the Pfizer Art Show and the Pacific Street Gallery in New London.  She has been a member of the Mystic Art Center faculty for many years. Jacqueline is an award-winning artist who pushes realism with lights and colors, working mostly in soft pastels and oils.  Jacqueline also has over twenty-five years of experience in commercial art and jewelry design.  She has been extensively involved with many galleries, including being a board member, judge, fundraiser, president of an art association, teacher, and running galleries.  For nearly two decades, Jacqueline has been chosen by her peers to paint the official Hygienic Art Show impressionist poster.  Her work has been recognized by such prestigious organizations as the Connecticut Pastel Society and the NAACP, and is in private collections throughout North America.
